this week.......

jake paid us a visit this week and he and will took their first bath together. they were so funny and cute. and baby will finally crawled for the first time while they were getting ready for their bath!


will's teeth are coming in all over the place. just thought this was funny.

will might not crawl yet, and only have 1 tooth so far, but he knows how old he is going to be on his 1st birthday! watch the video! don't forget to pause the music.

kaylie's competition video is on our video camera and these of will are on our regular camera. i haven't figured out how to put her cheer competition video on the blog yet. i am still working on that one. i just wanted everyone to see some pictures of her and her squad at nationals, how will much enjoyed his first pancake, how messy spaghetti was,his new tongue trick, and how he crawls backwards.

Remembering the old days!

I was just looking through all my old pictures tonight and thought i could show some good pictures from way back when and a good pic from a few years ago. Look at the difference. Spencer says I must have gotten cute somewhere around 16 or 17!!! Anyway, here are the Sory's!!!

enjoying my weekend!

this past friday, kaylie's cheerleading squad had a national competition in fort worth. i volunteered to chaperone their room. we had so much fun. of course with 4 14 year olds in 1 room, guess who had to sleep on the cot? me, that's right! it wasn't too bad. their team performed on friday night and again saturday morning and they did so great! they came home with 1st place in their division. i am so proud of all of them. what an accomplishment after such a hard year and new sponsors!!!!! anyway, i will post the video and some pictures later. spencer took the camera with him today and i haven't uploaded them yet.

i just wanted to post some fun pics of will as he grows and gets so big! he is cutting 2 more teeth. but, they aren't the 2 we wish they were. instead of his front 2 coming in, the 2 side incisors are coming first! he is going to look like a baby vampire. but it will be so funny and cute!

spencer got will dressed this morning and seriously wondered why his pants weren't fitting him like they did last week! too funny!

Christmas

we definitely puts some miles on our car this year. but it was all worth it and we had such a nice time and thankful to all be together. a few days before christmas, we took will and jake to have their pictures made with santa. not such a good day for will. a double ear infection and a new tooth coming in didn't make for much fun that day!it was so warm christmas eve, in henderson, that we were able to walk to the park just to get out of the house for a bit before having dinner and opening presents. aunt kelli gave will a radio flyer turtle that you can ride. i think it's gonna be a while before his feet touch the ground. christmas morning at the farm!

a little christmas re-decorating!

i was looking at different blogs last night and came across one where this lady had decorated her mantle with little children socks, 25 socks, one for each day of the month until Christmas day. in each sock, she put a small item or candy in it that her kids could get out on that day of december. what a precious idea. i thought it was so so cute, i had to do it. i really don't like to be a copy cat, but this time it's worth it. the only thing different is that my mantle is full already, and that there aren't 25 days left anymore and i couldn't fit 25 socks on my string. so we are just doing it purely for the cuteness of it. she also had some branches like this in a vase or pitcher with fake birds on the branches. as well as the sock idea, i thought it was very cute. kaylie and i went to target at 9:30 to get clothes pins and string, so i didn't really have time to look for any birds. so that is next on my list. may not get done this year, but next year, i will have birds.



and thanks to everyone for the christmas cards i've gotten so far, i love them!
